No.170 Case report “Low back pain”

The patient is a 65 year old women who speaks English. She complained of low back pain on the left side and also felt numbness until above the knee, which started 5 month ago. First she visited a nearby hospital and even though she got some medication, it did not work. She went to massage therapist but it also did not help. Her friend told her to visit Connect Chiropractic because Kosuke is doctor of chiropractic and speaks English. When she got to the clinic, she dragged her left leg because of the pain. She said “Please help me. I could not sleep well the last couple of months and it is even hard to lay down on my back now.”  After her initial check a subluxation was found by her left ilium and C5.

She received an adjustment with Thompson technique and the pain was decreased right away as well as the numbness. Kosuke advised her to come back for a re-check within a week to make sure the subluxation healed.
