A women in  her 30’s gave  Dr. K a phone call the other day. Her chief complaint was a headache on the right side of her head. She started feeling the pain about a week ago. She tried to get a massage, however, the pain did not improve and still remained. She also tried some herbal remedies, but these also did not work. She then decided to call Dr. K. When he checked her spine, he found a subluxation on her 3^rd cervical vertebra, additionally, her 4, 5 and 6^th thoracic vertebras did not move well. So, he adjusted the vertebras where they were subluxated. After adjustment, her headache was gone. She was surprised and Dr. K explained what was going on in her body.

A man in his 20’s visited Dr. K the other day. His main complaint was a headache felt mostly in the back of his head. The pain would come and go during most of the day with his pain 8 out of 10 on the VAS scale. Dr. K checked his spine, he found a subluxation on the 2^nd and 5^th cervical vertebra. Because of those, the muscles on his neck were tight.

When Dr.K adjusted his neck, the muscle was dramatically loosened. Dr. K adjusted only the 2^nd and 5^thvertebrae and the day was done. Three days later, the patient visited again for a check-up where he told Dr. K the headache was gone.

A women 28 weeks pregnant visited Dr. K.   Her main complaint was low back pain on her right and also numbness on the right leg. The pain scale the patient mentioned was 9 out of 10 with VAS scale while standing and walking. Dr. K checked her spine, he found a subluxation on her right SI joint. He adjusted her right side with the Drop table, and using SOT technique which uses a wedge-shape block and maintains the joint. After adjustment, the pain dramatically decreased, and she could walk without any pain.

During pregnancy, the joints become loose because of the Relaxin hormone. Actually, this hormone aids placenta growth and stops contractions to prevent an early delivery. At the end of pregnancy, when labor begins, Relaxin helps to relax the ligaments in the pelvis to allow it to stretch as the baby leaves the mother’s body.

Dr. Kosuke got a phone call from a women, “Could you see me, I am 36’s week pregnant and the baby is in a breech position”.

The next day, she visited Connect Chiropractic and Dr. K listened about her history and what she had done for re-positioning the baby; she had gone to acupuncture and also did some exercising. It, however, did not help at all. Dr. K checked her body and found a fixated joint on her right SI joint (Sacro-Iliac Joint) and a tight round ligament on her left which supports the uterus.

Dr.  K explained what he found and how her body could be changed after an adjustment. He adjusted her SI joint on the right side and Sacro-tuberous ligament as well as her round ligament with what is known as the Webster technique.

On her fourth visit to the clinic she said, “Doc! Good News! NO MORE BREECH”. Dr. K said “Yeah!!!!!”

Case report

A lady in her 70’s was diagnosed Spinal Stenosis by Neurologist three month ago and she was prescribed a pain killer. The doctor also suggested visiting Connect Chiropractic to see Dr. Kosuke.

When Dr. K saw her, she had numbness on her left leg from the front side and through the outside of the knee to the tip of the big toe. When Dr. K checked her spine, 5th Lumbar was subluxated.

Dr. K adjusted her 5^th Lumbar using COX Technique which is specialized for Spinal Stenosis and Herniated disk. This technique focuses on the movement of the intervertebral disc and nucleus by flexing and extending it regulates the internal pressure between the vertebrae which works to return to the nucleus to the correct position. It is significantly effective against “Vertebral Canal Stenosis” and “Lumbar Disc Herniation.”

The COX Technique is performed on the “Flexion Distraction” table; of which there are only about 100 units of this table in Japan. The main feature of this table is that it can be operated by focusing only on the target vertebra. Rather than pulling on the entire waist or legs Dr. K can approach only the area that causes the problem, as well, the patient will be able to obtain higher effectiveness.

After adjustment, the patient felt much better than before and actually did not feel numbness at all. She went back home with big smile.
